NEW DELHI : Swatantra Bhardwaj has been granted regular bail by a Delhi’s Patiala House
court in a case concerning the alleged assault of the father of a student activist during a CJP protest at Jantar Mantar.
Additional Sessions Judge Saurabh Pratap Singh Laler passed the order on Tuesday, granting Bhardwaj regular bail after he had earlier been released on interim bail for three weeks. The court had granted the interim relief for a limited period and subsequently considered Bhardwaj’s conduct during that period while deciding the plea for regular bail.
